The rain has finally arrived, so now the weeds are really growing. Overall this summer is really producing some good crops, despite our higher than normal temperatures. All our plants seem to be staying healthy and the insect damage has been minimal.

The following is a list of vegetables and herbs we are currently harvesting:

– Zucchini
– Cucumbers
– Basil
– Carrots
– Swiss Chard
– Thyme
– Summer Savory
– Onions
– A few Tomatoes

I pulled out all the sugar snap pea plants this week.  I also pulled four rows of carrots and six rows of onions out. Now we have space available to start thinking about planting for a fall harvest.
